Ana Cristina Juarez |
Cristina Juarez was born in a place much too small for her big dreams and imagination. At a breathtaking age of 3, she discovered her mission in life. When asked she would always respond, “No matter how confusing life gets, there is one thing I’ve always known and it will never change no matter how hard or unrealistic people tell me it is.” That constant and persistent journey she talks about is her love to perform and entertain. She knew she was born to be an actress and a singer, and since she discovered her destiny, there was nothing and no one that could take her vision away. |
At a very young age she began preparing for her dream. Being born of Erick Juarez, a surgeon, and Ana De Leon, a pediatrician, she learned that education was very important, due to her parents prioritizing education in their home. Not knowing what else to do to prepare for her mission to entertain people, she did all she could do to prepare. She per- formed. |
Cristina participated in any talent shows available. She auditioned for every school play being produced, and joined her schools cheerleading squad at age four which kept her in shape, taught her to work hard, be outgoing, and friendly. It showed her to keep smiling no matter what, and it engraved in her the importance of always staying positive. Most importantly, she was able to do what she loved doing. Cheering people up and entertaining them when situations let them down. |
She landed many roles throughout her life such as one of the godmothers of sleeping beauty, the main role in a Spanish musical called “En El Bosque De La China”, and also small roles in “A Christmas Carol “ and “Cinderella”, and many more. She made it into many talent shows as well as charity shows. One of her biggest accomplishments was being part of a charity organization called “Teleton” for about 6 years in the small town of Villa Canales, Guatemala were she was born and raised until the age of 10. |
The “Teleton” was a huge talent show where many people came to watch performances, one of them being Cristina. If the audience liked your performance, volunteers would come around the crowd with a donation can and people would donate money to it. All the money went to children that were handicapped and had disabilities. Cristina loved doing this charity event, and continued doing it until her last day in Guatemala because it felt so amazing to be able to do some- thing to help out others. |

She recently began taking dance classes, both in tap and modern, and will continue to improve and grow those skills.
