Dr. Lawrence Peck was born June 24, 1956 in Brooklyn, New York and was raised in Nassau County. He graduated Magma Cum Laude from SUNY at Buffalo in 1978 and completed Medical School at the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine in May, 1983. He served as a Primary Care Physician in the United States Air Force until 1996 attaining the rank of Major. He received three individual Air Force Medals during his career. He currently is the Owner and CEO of Morrisville-Yardley Family Practice, located in Morrisville, PA. As well as being a successful physician, he and his wife of twenty-nine years, Lori have three children, Joshua, Daniel and Rachel. He is board certified in Family Medicine and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians.

 

According to Dr. Peck,   “Disease prevention is the most important fundamental in maintaining patients’ current and future health.” I tell my patients “my job is to help to prevent your first heart attack, not your second one”….Family physicians, unlike most other members of the medical profession not only treat and cure disease, but we uniquely are positioned to prevent disease.
